Bespoke Joinery in Leicester

Having worked in the Carpentry and Joinery industry for the last 15 years it was time to apply my skills and knowledge to setting up my own business. Harborough and Cornish LTD was established in June 2015, based in Leicester.

My training started in London in January 1993 to December 1994, at The Worshipful Company of Carpenters, studying Cabinet Making and Design. After successful completion of the course, I moved back to Norfolk where I continued to further my skills at Partners in Wood, in Holt, Norfolk. There I spent time on the bench and learning 1st and 2nd fix carpentry on site.

In November 1995, I moved to Germany where I worked building timber framed houses and general joinery, and later applying the same skills in Christchurch, New Zealand.

When returning to the UK in 1998, I continued working for local Joinery companies, in the workshop and on site, to further my knowledge.

At Harborough and Cornish LTD we have been designing, manufacturing and installing quality joinery since 2005, providing an economical, efficient and personal service by a small professional business. We aim to offer our customers the highest standards in quality, price and support once the job is completed.

We have worked on renovation projects, barn conversions, and also provided joinery of a more contemporary style on new builds/ extensions, working closely with local builders and Designers.

Appling traditional joinery methods, using modern machines and tooling, we are able to produce work to match listed building and period properties and general joinery works.
